Dance Styles
BALLET
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and provides grace, poise, and the technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, strength, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
HIP HOP
Hip-Hop has its roots in urban culture and percussive music. These classes focus on age appropriate choreography and movement to popular, high energy music that dancers will love.
JAZZ
This core dance style builds a strong technical foundation, which enables a dancer to focus on the stylistic and performance aspects of dance. Jazz allows the freedom to develop a dancer’s individuality to its fullest, while having a strong focus on proper technique and strength.
DANCE ACRO
Dance Acro encompasses all the fundamentals of acrobatics and tumbling, from backbends and handstands to cartwheels and forward rolls. This class helps to build another layer of strength and ability in our dancers, which can later be added to choreography and performances.
TINY DANCER
Your path to loving dance starts here! Our Tiny Dancer program is designed to enhance your child’s motor, listening and social skills through dance and movement. Tiny Dancers will learn dance basics, how to follow direction and imitate moves in a fun and positive environment. Our Tiny Dancers can choose from various styles including ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.
CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary is a versatile dance style that blends elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance to emphasize emotional expression, musicality, and storytelling. Dancers explore fluid movement, creativity, and strong technical foundations while using dynamics, improvisation, and artistry to connect with both the music and the audience.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Musical Theatre combines jazz technique, acting, and storytelling to bring Broadway-style choreography to life. Dancers develop performance skills, stage presence, character expression, and confidence while learning energetic routines inspired by musicals both classic and contemporary.
