Manda Oliver

Dance Instructor

Manda "Mo" Oliver is a multi-faceted Dance Educator and Choreographer. She particularly specializes in jazz based genres of dance. As a true Oregonian, she grew up in the suburbs of Oregon, and later moved to Portland upon completing her B.A. of Dance at Western Oregon University in 2024 - a year early! She has been teaching dance full time ever since, with a focus on youth arts education.

Her teaching philosophy firmly aims at pulling from what students naturally excel at, and applying it to all areas of dance to further strengthen students' capabilities. She believes confidence is key in everything an individual does, and focuses on building that confidence in her dancers. In addition to teaching dance, she also serves as a board member, performing artist, and choreographer for her local dance company.

When she is not in the dance studio, she is working on numerous artistic projects, such as painting, writing, and musical endeavors.

Manda is very excited to get to work with the student body at Metro Dance Academy!
