We are celebrating the holiday season with our annual Snowflakes Winter Showcase! Join us on Sunday, December 17th at 4:00pm at the Lake Oswego High School Auditorium. Our Snowflakes Winter Showcase is an excellent opportunity for dancers to get comfortable performing on stage and for parents, family and friends to see them shine!  

This year’s show is officially SOLD OUT! Thank you so much for your support of our dancers and our studio, this will be our largest winter showcase to date!

Be sure to join us immediately after the show for our Holiday Cookie Bar, a special holiday gift for each dancer and a possible Santa sighting!

Venue:

As the Metro Dance Academy continues to grow, this year’s Snowflakes Winter Showcase will be bigger and better than ever! We are pleased to hold this year’s performance in a larger venue to comfortably accommodate all of the families and friends of our dancers.

  • Parking will be available in both the front and rear lots and overflow parking will be available at Lake Oswego Junior High School located across the street

  • You may enter through the front or rear entrance doors to enter the main lobby. Look for the teal balloons and and follow the signs to the auditorium 

Arrival & Dancer Instructions:

  • All participating dancers must check-in by 3:00pm

  • Dancers must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian and will be escorted to and from our get-ready room by a Metro Dance Academy staff member or volunteer.

  • For safety, dancers will remain in the get-ready room, called the Black Box theater for the duration of the show. Staff members and volunteers will be in the room to assist with costume changes and we will also provide entertainment for dancers before and after their performance time.

  • If you plan to leave the show after your dancer’s performance, dancers may be checked out at that time by a parent/guardian.

  • Your entire party may arrive at 3:00pm to get in line for the door opening

  • Auditorium doors will open at 3:30pm. There are two sets of double doors that will open, so please form two lines

  • Please have your electronic or printed ticket confirmation ready

  • Staff will start scanning tickets while you are waiting in line to help with a quick and smooth transition into the auditorium

  • If you need your ticket confirmation, please CLICK HERE and enter your email and last four digits of the credit card used to purchase the tickets

Photos & Videos:

  • There will be a designated photo/video area located in the center aisle, between the front and back sections, for you to get a good view of the stage and take photos and videos during your child's routine.  

After The Show:

  • At dancer check-out, please pick up your holiday gift bag, labeled with your dancer’s name

  • Our holiday cookie bar will be open immediately following the show in the auditorium lobby/hallway. Please help yourself to a yummy treat!

  • Stop by our festive photo-op stations for some cute photos/videos with your dancer
