2026 Spring Dance Showcase, Presented by Metro Dance Academy!

Save the date for Metro Dance Academy’s 2026 Spring Showcase, Sunday, June 14th at 12 PM & 4PM at Lake Oswego High School. This year’s theme is “Stay True”.

Our spring show is a celebration of all the hard work, growth and accomplishments made by our dancers throughout the season. It’s an opportunity for all of our amazing dancers to shine on stage and perform for family and friends.

Exclusive Showcase T-Shirts

We are excited to offer exclusive Metro Dance Academy 2026 Spring Showcase t-shirts to celebrate and commemorate your dancer's performance! The shirt includes all performing dancer's names on the back!

We are now accepting Pre-Orders. All pre-orders will be due by Friday, April 3rd. We will also have a small selection of shirts available to purchase either the week of dress rehearsal or at the show. 

  • $25 each

  • Short-sleeved 100% cotton 

  • Available in youth sizes XS-XL and adult sizes S-XXXL

Tickets:

  • Tickets will be available to purchase online only via TutuTix

  • Ticket sales open Thursday, May 14th at 12 PM

  • Reserved seating - select your seats at time of purchase

  • Separate tickets required for matinee and evening shows

  • Pricing:

    • Adult: $18

    • Child Age 3+: $15

    • Age 2 & under: FREE (sitting on lap)

Costumes & Fees:

  • Costumes have been ordered and are arriving in studio. Some classes may begin to take costumes home

  • Tiny Dancer: $60 per costume

  • Company/Crew/Rec Dancer: $75 per costume

  • COSTUME FEES BY CLASS

  • Showcase Fee: One-time $40/dancer fee to be charged to your card on file on Thursday, April 9th

Day of Show: Dancer Check-In/Out

What time is dancer check-in?

  • Company/Crew Call Time: 9:30 AM

  • All Ballet Dancer Call Time: 10:00 AM

  • Rec Dancer Call Time: Matinee: 11:00 AM, Evening: 3:00 PM

  • All dancers must arrive in full costume, hair and makeup

  • Check-in will be organized by dancer last name

Are parents allowed backstage?

For the safety of our dancers, parents WILL NOT be allowed backstage at any time, unless you are registered volunteer

What should my dancer bring?

Please bring a small bag for shoes and belongings marked with dancer’s first and last name. Please bring a small snack and a water bottle marked with dancer’s first and last name. Tiny Dancers will receive a plastic bag at check-in for their belongings that can be picked up at the conclusion of the show.

How do I check-out my dancer after the show?

Dancer check-out will be organized by dancer last name and check-out stations will be located on either side of the auditorium doors.

Tiny Dancers will be released to their parent/guardian off the stage immediately following their routine.

Ballet Dress Rehearsals:

  • In-Studio: Friday, June 12th - 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

  • On-Stage: Sunday, June 14th at 10:00 AM

  • Company/Crew Rehearsal Call Time: 9:30 AM

  • Rec Ballet Dancer Call Time: 10:00 AM - please arrive in full costume, hair and makeup

  • These times are subject to change

Showcase Picture Day
Friday May 8th & Saturday May 9th

Mark your calendars for our professional photo shoot with Hults Photography. Dancers will wear their costumes, hair and makeup for each Spring Showcase routine.

Dad’s Dance:

Calling all Dance Dads! Help us kick off our 2026 Spring Showcase with a special Dad's Dance Performance! Join your dancer on-stage for a fun, simple routine to open the show and get the excitement started! Choose to perform in the 12 PM Matinee or the 4 PM Evening Show (or both!)

We can't wait to see all of our amazing Dads (or any loved one your dancer wishes to dance with) light up the stage with another unforgettable performance!

Dad’s Dance Rehearsals:

Please plan to attend one or both rehearsals with your dancer. Both will be held at Metro Dance Academy in Studio 1.

  • Sunday, May 17th - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Sunday, June 7th - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Stay tuned for an online video tutorial of the routine coming soon so Dad and Dancer can learn and practice at home.
